A Haunted Double Header
The Melbourne Beach Fire Department understood the assignment. Not for the faint of heart, the annual Haunted House gets better with age. With broadway-quality sets, blood, guts and gore were plentiful. Add in monsters and zombies whose sole purpose is to make you jump. Then just when you think you’re safe, a crazy man with a chainsaw chases after you. This haunted house is what nightmares are made of.
Lines were long, but worth the wait! But parents beware, it should come with a PG-13 warning. My 7 year old loved it but my 5 year old freaked out. Either way it was definitely more intense than I had anticipated.
Luckily after the Haunted House, Hocus Pocus was a walk in the park. Witches sucking the life of children – no big deal! With the Police Department handing out free popcorn and ices, and children running around catching up with friends, this Friday night double-header was spook-tacular! Big shout out to the Melbourne Beach Volunteer Fire Department and Police Department for all their hard work.
